The garage itself has a great feeling to it where it recreates a high street garage well. There isn’t a lot of detail in some areas which would have been a nice touch from a PCVR title but the experience itself remains immersive. Graphically the game plays well and looks good.
I suffered no noticeable dropped frames or tearing while playing and it worked well as a wireless game. Graphics and AudioĪll playtesting was done on a Quest 2 via Virtual Desktop.
I am really enjoying all the changes and improvements they are making with ever patch. LOL! This game is getting better every patch, I have well over 200 hours on Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 and the VR option is more and better than the vanilla game. the only thing that I’m having trouble get is the rubber bushings from around the engine bay, probably because (I didn’t think of doing this before) of me keeping the vehicle all the way up on the lift instead of bringing it down to just before putting it on the ground. This game is just like the 2018 version, but more hands on and in your face! Would like it if our purchases from the 2018 version would be free for those who have already purchased them in the VR version.
